Arbol GUSTAVE HAMONET (Ar. II)

Gustavo Hamonet, the youngest and third son of Gustave-Pierre Hamonet, spent his childood in West of France, near Angers, then came to Buenos Aires in order to assist his father, Gustave-Pierre Hamonet already settled in the city. At that time (in the yars 1860), the three sons Auguste, Léon and Gustavo, were there, working with their father. But, as told in Marie-Louise Hamonet’s manuscript, dissensions grew up between sons and father. As a result, Auguste and Léon left their father, following their own way in Argentina. Only Gustavo junior was staying with him.

Léon was the founder of one of the Hamonet argentina arbol (1), Gustavo foundet another Hamonet argentina arbol (2). Auguste tried to develop an experimental cultivation of "ramie", a vegetal fiber with exceptional characteristics : stronger than cotton and bright like silk, but repeated floods, after several years, obliged him to stop the experiment and he came back to Francia.

So, only Léon ang Gustavo are the founders of argentina Hamonet trees.
